Children and young adults in California can get health coverage at no cost
through the Community Health Care Program.

Do I qualify?

You or your family may qualify if you live in an area served by Kaiser
Permanente and meet these age requirements:
• Fresno, Kings, or Madera counties: 25 or younger
• Other counties in Northern California: 18 or younger

You must also:
• Live in a household with an income no more than 3 times the federal
poverty level (for example, up to $36,180 for a single person or $73,800
for a family of 4 in 2017)
• Not have access to other health coverage like Medi-Cal, Medicare, a
job-based health plan, or coverage through Covered California

You don’t have to be a U.S. citizen to qualify.
