If you have never been to ArtHop before, then you’re missing out! The ArtHop is an event planned by the art community in downtown Fresno and the Tower district every first Thursday of the month. I found it as a great way for new talent to show their art.

I went with my daughter to the Artwork “Que Chulo es Pueblaone” at Fresno Art Council. Its a Photographic exhibition with a digital finish that highlights the beauty of the state of Puebla through its architecture and landscapes by the Artist Nicole A. Pellegrino from Coyoacán, Mexico City.

It felt like exploring a strange country to me, which turned out to be very colorful. Still the first few minutes were confusing to me, I had a hard time trying to understand the point of view the photographer was expressing. Some of the work shown was nice but much of it appears to me a little artificial, and lacking the personal touch which alone gives the life to a work of art.  I am of course speaking out of one who knows nothing about photography, you can visit it and see it on your own.

I hope next time the whole group can make it.

The attached art work was my favorite.
