The California Faculty Association (CFA) Fresno State Chapter will be
recruiting a student intern to participate in the Tim Sampson Student
Internship Program which serves to build an ongoing partnership among CSU
students and faculty.

Through the internship, students and faculty members work together on
critical issues on our campuses and statewide.

Students in the internship gain powerful organizing skills, build
relationships with and among student organizations, and educate students on
their respective campuses about issues critical to the CSU.

*Salary: *$15.00/hr; 7 hours/week

Position Starts Fall 2017

Whether on your campus, in your community, or at the state capitol, YOU CAN
MAKE A DIFFERENCE. If you are interested in working with CFA and learning
how to fight back and organize on behalf of issues important to faculty and
students, this internship is for you.

The Purpose of the Student Internship Program is to:

1. Build the organizing skills of CSU students as activist leaders.
2. Develop an ongoing partnership between faculty and students to
collaborate on issues that are important to the university system and to
public higher education.
3. Increase student awareness about campus-community labor issues and
impact of these issues on the university.
4. Promote student awareness, empowerment and engagement of social
justice, labor issues, and the movement for free higher education.
