Central Valley Cal-SOAP is now hiring college students for the 2017-18
academic year to serve as Peer Advisors or Academic Tutors at 4 different
school districts: Kerman, Golden Plains, Mendota, and Firebaugh.

Cal-SOAP is a unique program that offers in-classroom tutoring and after
school tutoring services at both middle school and high schools at the
latter districts.
Cal-SOAP also offers peer advising services in which our student staff will
work closely with the high school counselors to assist students with
Financial Aid, Dream Act, College Applications, Career Exploration, and
many other services.
College students must be enrolled at least part-time at a 2 year or 4 year
university as well as demonstrate to be receiving financial aid to be
considered.
