Rob Soryan came to my Tuesday to discus fundraising tips. The things
that I grasped from him coming to class was although getting donors is
great, maintaining a long term relationship essential. I like the
phrase Mr. Soryan mentioned ” Preparation, listening, then react.”
This phrase stuck out to me because I agree that being prepared and
listening can make fundraising a lot easier for both the potential
funders and yourself. I learned that if I want to get into
fundraising it is best to learn the razir edge, blackbald, gifts work,
and salesforce database. Overall I think Mr. Soryan brought a lot of
information to class that I will use in the future.
